Brilliant day with my 2 boys. They loved every minute of it. The team was very knowledgeable and always over chatting to me and the boys about the various bugs. Letting them use the special torch, magnifying glass and giving insights into how the bugs live. We will be back again for sure. Highly recommend.
This was a lovely different experience to bring our nature loving 12 year old daughter to. There were lots of spiders and other interesting insects to see and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There was also a lovely selection of books you could buy and free colouring pages for younger children.

I thoroughly enjoyed Happy Bugs Zoo and I would absolutely return again. We were introduced to many species of tarantulas, praying mantis and stick insects in particular. There was spider molts with a microscope, and we were able to hold the docile insects like the Giant prickly stick insect. The staff were very friendly and informative, especially for young children. I would absolutely recommend this event for all ages.
Who We Are
Our child's passion became our family project and so the idea of a science centre or simply an insect zoo sparked in my head.
This will be an unique space solely dedicated to bugs. We hope you can come and learn about the amazing world of these small creatures, overcome your fears and if you you’re feeling adventurous, to touch some of them.
