Arachnids

Arachnids are a diverse and fascinating class of arthropods, with around 100,000 known species across the globe. They belong to the class Arachnida, which is part of the phylum Arthropoda.

This class includes a wide range of creatures, from spiders to scorpions, ticks, mites, pseudoscorpions, harvestmen, camel spiders, whip spiders and vinegaroons. Adult arachnids have eight legs attached to the cephalothorax. They are found in nearly every habitat on Earth.
