Spiders

Spiders are predatory, eight-legged arthropods (order Araneae) found worldwide in nearly every habitat except Antarctica. As essential natural pest controllers, they use venom and silk to capture prey. They are not insects; as arachnids, they have two body segments, no wings, and possess spinnerets, with over 53,000 recorded species.
